There is an annoying loud beep sound on laptops that is played every time we adjust the volume bar. Disabling all sounds in through control panel doesn’t work because it’s a system beep which Windows requires to play even if you use No sounds scheme. The only way to solve that problem is following:
Download this .wav file here: silence.wav
Save it to your Windows/Media folder. This file is just plays nothing or in other words plays silence. Then go to Control Panel/Sounds and Audio devices. Select Sounds tab there. In bottom part of window there is a list of Program events. Select Default beep and in the Sounds field set your newly saved silence.wav to it. That’s it. Now try to adjust your volume bar. It shouldn’t now cause that terrible sound to play anymore.
